Freelance Translator with a degree in Modern Languages and Literatures (English and German Studies) from the Faculty of Arts of the University of Coimbra (Portugal) and a postgraduate Translation course (EN,DE > PT). Professional specialization in the field of Internet and Computers, videogames, and DVD subtitling. Recently, and to update and to learn more, I attended the Audiovisual Translation Course that took place in the Imperial College, London, in July 2010.

Working as a freelancer since 2005 and with experience in web applications, internet sites, health related, pharmaceutical leaflets, legal documents, games, software, etc. Also proofreading and subtitling jobs of movies and series to be released in DVD and Blu-ray. O curso de especialização teve uma grande incidência técnica, sobretudo na área de direito (DE>PT), economia (EN>PT)e Medicina (DE>PT e EN>PT). Especialização profissional na área da Internet e computadores, videojogos e legendagem para DVD. Recentemente, e para renovar e obter novos conhecimentos, participei no Curso de Tradução Audiovisual, que teve lugar no Imperial College, Londres, em Julho de 2010.

As traduções efectuadas a nível profissional desde 2005 centram-se sobretudo em aplicações web, sites da internet, documentos jurídicos, saúde, bulas, jogos, software, etc. Também trabalhos de revisão e legendagem de filmes e séries para DVD e Blu-ray.
