The Election Commission has deferred the by elections to seven parliamentary constituencies and elections for women's reserved seats in view of the situation created due to the BDR mutiny and killing of army officers. The commission announced the revised schedule at about 2 pm today. According to the revised schedule, elections for women's reserved seats will be held on March 30 and voting in the by elections will be held on April 2. As per the new schedule, the last date for submission of nomination papers for the women's reserved seats is March 12, scrutiny on March 15 and the last date for withdrawing nomination papers is March 19. For the by elections to seven constituencies, the last date for submitting nomination papers is March 9, scrutiny on March 11 and the last date for withdrawing nomination papers is March 17. By elections to seven constituencies were earlier scheduled to be held on March 30. Awami League Chief Sheikh Hasina, BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia and Chairman of Jatiyo Party H M Ershad were elected from three seats each during the ninth parliamentary elections on December 29. Each of them vacated two seats, keeping one as per rule. Sheikh Hasina is representing Gopalgonj-3 while Khaleda Zia Feni-1 and Ershad Dhaka-17 seats. Sheikh Hasina vacated Bagerhat-1 and Rangpur-6, Khaleda Zia Bogra-6 and Bogra-7 and Ershad Rangpur-3 and Kurigram-2 seats while Kishorgonj-6 was vacated after Zillur Rahman became the President. The Immortal Ekushe Book Fair ended today through a huge gathering. Bahrain will extend its sincere supports to Bangladesh in exporting manpower under the newly introduced Public-Private Partnership program. The assurance came when Crown Prince of Bahrain Sheikh Salman bin Hamad bin lsa Al Khalifa called on Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the Egyptian resort of Sharm-el-Sheikh on the sideline of the NAM summit today. The Crown Prince said, "Our government is ready to import Bangladeshi manpower under the Public-Private Partnership, PPP." He added that, if necessary, the two countries can work closely to form a joint commission in this regard. Press Secretary to the Prime Minister Abul Kalam Azad, following the meeting, informed the journalists that the Crown Prince congratulated Sheikh Hasina on her assumption as the Prime Minister and hoped that the existing bilateral friendly relations between the two countries would further grow under her dynamic leadership. During the meeting, they also discussed wide ranging bilateral and multilateral issues including setting up of an Expatriate Welfare Bank in Bangladesh and expansion of trade and business between the two countries. On export of Bangladeshi manpower, Sheikh Hasina said, her government has taken steps to impart training to the overseas job seekers on foreign languages and laws of the respective countries before sending them abroad. She also said, her government is setting up a separate expatriate welfare bank for the welfare of the expatriates. Background
I completed my graduation and masters in economics and later got a diploma in Computer Science and Applications. I began my professional life as a teacher of English and then worked in the field of human resources and personnel administration for a few years. Later I started to work as a News Editor in an electronic media where I engaged myself for a long.
Language
I studied both in Bengali and English atmosphere which helped me gather knowledge of both the languages. In Bengali, I really feel something motherly, not only for that it’s my native language, but also for the cause of its inherent quality. I also am highly interested in English, the widespread international language which is exceptionally rich in vocabulary. Besides, I study other languages including Hindi, Urdu, Spanish, Portuguese and Arabic for the comprehension of comparative linguistics.

I’m so fortunate that I got the opportunity to deal with languages in some reputed organizations and this helped me a lot be enriched in both Bengali and English languages and made me interested in translation work. In the media, I performed jobs like translation, transcription as well as editing.
Versatility
The media also opened a wide horizon for me and I entered the diversified world of translation. There I gathered experience on the items of politics, administration, finance and economics, law, agriculture, fisheries, science and technology, development, various social and religious issues, nature, natural calamities and disasters, international organizations, sports, culture and so on. I dealt with both home and international issues.
Motto
My background, long experience and finally knack for translation inspired me to become a freelance translator with the promise of providing better and better services.
