Los menores migrantes no acompañados, diariamente emprenden un camino incierto con el único objetivo de reunirse con un ser querido, niños que a su corta edad se exponen a la complejidad y a la temperatura del desierto, así como a ser presas de violadores, asesinos, que los ven como mercancías que pueden explotar, prostituir y hasta traficar.
Fue por ellos que creamos hace ya más de cuatro años el programa Camino a Casa, con el fin de atenderlos, protegerlos y velar por su seguridad mientras son enviados a su lugar de origen.
A la fecha hemos logrado rescatar 25,600 niños, quienes se han reunido de nuevo con sus familias.

Every day, countless unaccompanied migrant minors start on an uncertain road with the sole objective of being reunited with a loved one; these are kids who, even though very young, expose themselves to the dangers and the temperature of the desert, as well as the risk of becoming the pray of rapists and killers who look at them as mere merchandise to be exploited, prostituted or even trafficked with.
They were the reason behind the creation of the “Camino a Casa” program, to tend to, protect, and watch over them so they remain safe while they wait to be sent to their places of origin.
To date, we have been able to rescue 25,600 children, who have ultimately been reunited with their families.
