I am currently working as an in-house translator in the R&D department of one of the top LCD television manfacturers in the world. I am responsible for the department's in-house Japanese translation needs, as well as dealing with French and other romance languages.

Outside of office hours I occasionally accept freelance work, either to pursue areas not covered by my current role or because I find the task particularly appealing.

I am in love with the very concept of language and aim to pick up another working language within the near future, encouraged by the needs of our department as well as my own interest.

I am intensely interested in translation theory and practice as well as linguistics and I relish further professional development and progress.
