Фандомат — зарегистрированная в России торговая марка для автоматов по приёму алюминиевых банок и бутылок из полиэтилентерефталата (ПЭТ) у населения. Автоматизация сбора вторичного сырья у населения за рубежом существует уже достаточно давно, однако при разработке российского аналога в конструкцию автомата были внесены многие изменения, адаптирующие его под российскую действительность. В частности, одной из особенностью фандомата является непосредственная выдача наличных денег сразу после сдачи тары. В европейских аналогах оплата обычно производится в виде чеков, которые можно использовать в магазинах — местах установки аппаратов.
Фандомат распознаёт более 4 тысяч видов алюминиевой и ПЭТ тары ёмкостью от 250 мл до 1 литра. Расчёт ведётся монетами исключительно достоинством 10 коп, из-за чего он не пользуется популярностью у большей части населения Москвы. (Несмотря на то, что производителем заявлена возможность расчёта монетами до 2 рублей). Вся собранная тара поступает на сортировочный пункт и, в дальнейшем, перерабатывается. Обслуживание фандоматов производится специальной службой компании, которая получает информацию о каждом конкретном аппарате от сотрудника-контролёра. В качестве контролёров в компании работают подростки от 14 до 18 лет, ежедневно следящие за своими прикреплёнными автоматами. От них информация о наполняемости приёмного отделения и наличии монет в монетораздаточном аппарате поступает в диспетчерский центр и далее в отдел логистики. Первые 300 фандоматов появились на улицах Москвы в 2004-м году. К 2007-му году их число возросло до полутора тысяч.

Fandomat est une marque russe déposée d'automates intelligents de collecte automatique des canettes en aluminium et des bouteilles en polyéthylène téréphtalate (T.E.P.) auprès de la population. L'automatisation de la collecte publique des matières recyclables existe déjà dans les autres pays depuis longtemps, mais le développement d'un équivalent russe a nécessité de nombreuses modifications, afin de l'adapter à la réalité de ce pays. L'une des particularités notables du Fandomat réside dans le versement immédiat d'argent liquide après la collecte des contenants. Les appareils européens, eux, remettent généralement après utilisation des bons pouvant être utilisés dans les magasins où sont installés les appareils.
Fandomat reconnait plus de 4000 sortes de récipients en aluminium et en PET d'une contenance allant de 250 millilitres à 1 litre. Le paiement se fait uniquement au moyen de pièces de 10 kopecks, raison de son peu de succès auprès de la majorité des Moscovites (malgré la possibilité, selon le fabricant, de recevoir des paiements en pièces d'une valeur maximum de 2 roubles). Les contenants ainsi récoltés sont ensuite envoyés au centre de tri avant d'être recyclés. L'entretien des machines est assuré par un service spécial de la société qui reçoit des informations, fournies par un contrôleur, au sujet de chaque appareil. Le rôle de contrôleur est assuré au sein de la compagnie par des adolescents âgés de 14 à 18 ans qui surveillent quotidiennement les appareils qui leur ont été attribués. Les informations qu'ils fournissent concernant le remplissage du réceptacle et la présence de pièces de monnaie dans la caisse de l'appareil sont envoyées au centre de dispatching, avant d'être transmises au département logistique. Les 300 premiers fandomats sont apparus dans les rues de Moscou en 2004. En 2007, on en dénombrait 1500.

Everyone from investment “experts” to the bloke down the pub will tell you this rebound in stocks is overdone. They have been saying the same thing for months. Yet equity markets surge ever higher. The S&P 500, for example, has rallied almost 60 per cent since its March low. In the UK, third-quarter performance has been the best since the FTSE index was put together 25 years ago. Many emerging markets have almost doubled.
What explains the continued strength? Certainly not fundamentals. Incorporating second-quarter earnings, the S&P 500 is now 35 per cent overvalued on a cyclically adjusted price/earnings ratio basis, according to Smithers & Co. Using a so-called “q” methodology that relates company stock prices to the replacement value of their assets, the US market is even more expensive. Emerging market valuations are off the charts.
Nor, it seems, can these lofty heights be adequately explained by money flows. US retail investors, for example, who own about half the market, have watched this rally from the sidelines. According to TrimTabs data, only $2.5bn has gone into equity mutual funds and exchange-traded funds since March. (By comparison, $254bn has chased bonds.) Lipper FMI data show that flows into equities across Europe are also small, but at least punters seem to be favouring equities over bonds. In Asia, as in the US, investors are also spurning stocks for bonds.
Someone must be buying. Who is left? One possibility is hedge funds. There is little new money available to invest – industry flows only just stabilised in August after more than a year of monthly withdrawals. But excess cash that was hurriedly set aside for redemptions over the past year may be being slowly put back to work. Institutional investors such as pension funds and insurers, whose movements are hard to track, may also be buying again, although anecdotal evidence suggests that here, too, caution reigns. One thing is for certain – whoever is pushing stocks higher is brave indeed.

Les épargnants américains, qui possèdent près de la moitié du marché, ont observé ce redressement en simples spectateurs. Selon les données du cabinet de recherche TrimTabs, depuis mars, seuls 2,5 milliards de dollars ont été investi dans les Sicav actions et dans les fonds indiciels cotés en bourse. (En comparaison, 254 milliards de dollars ont été investis dans les obligations.) Les données du cabinet Lipper FMI montrent que les achats d'actions en Europe sont également faibles, mais leurs boursicoteurs semblent au moins préférer les actions aux obligations. En Asie, comme aux États-Unis, les investisseurs délaissent également les actions au profit des obligations.
Il faut des acheteurs. Qui reste-t-il? Les fonds de placement spéculatif seraient une possibilité. Il n'y a que peu d'argent neuf à investir, les liquidités de l'industrie venant juste de se stabiliser après plus d'une année de retraits mensuels. Mais les excédents de caisse qui avaient été si vite mis de côté pour les amortissements au cours de l'année dernière devraient être réintroduits peu à peu. Les investisseurs institutionnels, tels que les fonds de pension ou les assureurs, dont les activités sont difficiles à suivre pourraient être à nouveau entrain d'acheter, bien que des preuves anecdotiques suggèrent qu'ici aussi la méfiance règne. Une chose est certaine, ceux qui investissent dans les actions ont bien du courage.
