WHO, in consideration of their forthcoming marriage to be celebrated shortly at LEGUEVIN Townhall (Haute-Garonne), and the fact that one of the parties is of foreign origin, and in accordance with the LA HAYE convention and subsequent texts upon the law applicable to ante-nuptial settlements, intend to state hereby the law and ante-nuptial settlement applicable between them from the the date of their marriage.

LAW APPLICABLE TO the ante-Nuptial SETTLEMENT
The future Husband and Wife declare that their judicial and financial terms shall abide by the French Law and declare to base their union upon the ante-nuptial settlement hereinafter :
ADOPTED SETTLEMENT
SEPARATE PROPERTY
The Future Husband and Wife declare to base their union upon the ante-nuptial settlement of unconditional separate property, as it is established by articles 1536 to 1543 of the French Civil Code.

Consequently, each party may keep the administration, enjoyment and free disposal of his or her personal furniture and property, that may or will belong to him or her whatever the circumstances.
Correspondingly, each party shall remain alone liable for the debts arising on his or her self, before or during the marriage, except in the case of article 220 of the Civil Code.
The Husband or Wife may not, separately, dispose of the rights whereby the lodging of the family is ensured, or of the pieces of furniture with which it is furnished, in accordance with article 215 of the Civil Code.

Proof and presumption of property
The Husband or Wife may prove by any legal means that he or she has the exclusive ownership of a property.
In the event of the marriage being dissolved, the Husband and Wife, or their heir and the representatives of their heir will reclaim all the objects of which they can prove the ownership, whether by title, use, mark or invoice.

CONTRIBUTION to household expenses
The Husband and Wife shall contribute to the expenses of the marriage in proportion to their respective revenues and profits, without having to account for said revenues and profits between them, and without being entitled to receive rents from each other.
DEBTS BETWEEN HUSBAND AND WIFE
The amount and conditions of reimbursement of the debts which would arise between the Husband and Wife during their marriage, will fall under the common law of the obligations or conventions of article 1543 of the Civil Code, these debts will be assessed, unless specified otherwise between the Husband and Wife, according to the rules of article 1469 section 3, in the cases covered by this text ; the interests on these debts will commence from the day of the liquidation.

SUCH ARE THE AGREEMENTS BETWEEN HUSBAND AND WIFE
I, the undersigned Notary Public, delivered the certificate as prescribed by the second section of article 1397-3 of the same code, to be handed to the officer of the civil status before the celebration of the marriage.

Les Futurs Epoux déclarent adopter pour base de leur union le régime de la séparation de biens pure et simple, tel qu'il est établi par les articles 1536 à 1543 du Code civil.

En conséquence, chacun d'eux conservera la propriété, l'administration, la jouissance et la libre disposition des biens, meubles et immeubles, qui peuvent lui appartenir actuellement ou qui pourront lui advenir par la suite à quelque titre que ce soit.
