Cairo (Reuters) - Sameh Fahmy the Egyptian minister of petroleum said on Thursday that about 17 companies from Canada, United Arab of Emirates, Egypt, Australia, Cyprus and Iraq shown their interest in obtaining licenses to hunt for gold in the eastern desert of the country.
A media conference was held right after selling a license for excavation of gold in the eastern desert of Egypt to "MATS HOLDINGS" a cypress company for 4.5 million U.S Dollars. |
