ธุรกิจเครื่องสำอางมีการแข่งขันสูง ผู้ประกอบการจึงต้องนำกลยุทธ์ต่าง ๆ ออกมาต่อสู้กันมากขึ้น และในปี 2552 เกิดปัญหาในเรื่องเศรษฐกิจชะลอตัว การเมืองไม่นิ่ง ความผันผวนของราคาน้ำมัน ภาวะเงินเฟ้อที่อยู่ในระดับสูง ส่งผลกระทบต่อธุรกิจเครื่องสำอาง ที่ผู้บริโภคมีกำลังซื้อลดลง ทำให้แนวโน้มการแข่งขันตลาดเครื่องสำอางมีความรุนแรงอย่างต่อเนื่อง( รายงานเศรษฐกิจและธุรกิจรายเดือน , 2552 : 4 ) ผู้ประกอบการหันมาแข่งขันราคามากขึ้น ส่งผลกระทบให้องค์กรต้องปรับปรุง ปรับเปลี่ยนวิธีคิด วิธีการทำงานให้พร้อมรับกับกระแสการเปลี่ยนแปลงที่จะเกิดขึ้นในอนาคตทั้งด้านระบบการเมือง เศรษฐกิจ การค้า และระบบเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศ จึงจำเป็น ที่องค์กรต่าง ๆ จะต้องมีการดำเนินธุรกิจผ่านบุคคลากรที่ มีความรู้ ทักษะ ความสามารถ ตลอดจนทัศนคติ และแรงจูงใจที่ ดีในการทำงาน ดังนั้นบุคคลากรในองค์กรจะต้องรับรู้และเข้าใจถึงความต้องการขององค์กรและรู้ถึงลักษณะการดำเนินธุรกิจ เพื่อให้การทำงานเป็นไปในแนวทางเดียวกันและเพื่อให้องค์กรประสบความสำเร็จทำให้แนวคิดเรื่องความสามารถ เข้ามามีบทบาทสำคัญที่ทำให้องค์กรต่าง ๆ หันมาให้ความสนใจ ศึกษา และพัฒนาแนวคิดดังกล่าวนี้ให้สามารถปรับใช้เข้ากับ องค์กรได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพสูงสุด

Background of Study
In the business world, competitive companies are companies that are able to produce quality products and services and efficiently respond to the changing needs of consumers in good time. Therefore, companies must always be active in innovating and improving their inner working system to be prepared to meet the needs of customers. Bringing development to a company requires the awareness of the company’s own position before looking into the position of competing companies. Managing a company in the world of globalization with technology as the work mechanism, personnel are important in driving the company forward. Companies that have high productivity and are dynamical tend to carry out basic procedures differently from other companies. This is what leads them to their success in using a work system that heads in the same direction, producing products on target and overcoming obstacles that occur in a problematic economy. Economically, these successful companies use the “knowledge and abilities” process as a basis in all levels of administration. It does not matter whether the companies are in the industrial sector or any other operational sectors, big or small; their success is a product of personnel intellect at all levels. (Prawet Maharattanakul, 2007:50)
The cosmetic industry is highly competitive. Entrepreneurs must pull out strategies to compete with one another. In 2009, the slackened economy, unstable politics, and high inflation rates have had a strong impact on the cosmetic industry. Consumers have less buying power and the competition in the cosmetic industry is growing more and more aggressive. (Monthly Economic and Business Report, 2009:4) Entrepreneurs are increasingly competing on prices, causing companies to adjust and change their way of thinking and working to be able to deal with the political, economical, trade and information technology changes in the future. Therefore, it is necessary for organizations to manage their businesses with knowledgeable, skilled and able personnel with good work motivation. Personnel must be aware of and understand the needs of the company and the ways of managing a business in order to move in the same direction and contribute to the success of the company. Because of this, the concept of competency has been given much importance and is the reason why many companies have become more interested in learning to apply the concept efficiently.

จากชุมชนบางลำพู สู่ใจกลางเมือง
“ก้าวที่ 7 ของเทศกาลละคร 7 ผู้กำกับ 7 เรื่อง 7 รูปแบบการแสดง ที่โรงภาพยนตร์ลิโด”
เทศกาลละครกรุงเทพเกิดขึ้นครั้งแรกในปี พ.ศ. 2545 เป็นการรวมตัวของคนทำงานด้านศิลปะการละคร ประกอบไปด้วยคนในคณะละคร ครูอาจารย์ด้านศิลปะการละคร คนทำงานศิลปะ รวมตัวกันเป็นเครือข่ายการทำงานโดยใช้ชื่อว่า “เครือข่ายละครกรุงเทพ” ก้าวแรกของเทศกาลละครเกิดขึ้นที่ชุมชนบางลำพู ซึ่งเป็นจุดเริ่มที่ก่อให้เกิดประกายชีวิต ไปสู่คนในชุมชุมและนอกชุมชนบางลำพู

ก้าวแรกด้านศิลปะละครที่ลิโด จะมีผลงานเข้มข้น คัดสรรจากสมาชิกเครือข่ายละครกรุงเทพ ของ 7 ผู้กำกับ 7 เรื่อง ซึ่งผลงาน 4 ใน 7 เรื่องนี้ เป็นผลงานของศิลปินที่ได้รับรางวัลศิลปินศิลปาธร สาขาศิลปะการแสดง 4 ท่าน ได้แก่ คุณประดิษฐ ปราสาททอง จากคณะละครมะขามป้อม คุณพิเชษฐ์ กลั่นชื่น จากพิเชษฐ์ Dance Company คุณนิมิตร พิพิธกุล จากคณะละครหุ่นสายเสมา และคุณสินีนาฏ เกษประไพ จากพระจันทร์เสี้ยวการละคร นอกจากนี้ยังมีผลงานจากผู้กำกับละครฝีมือดี อีก 3 ท่าน ได้แก่ คุณดำเกิง ฐิตะปิยะศักดิ์ จาก New Theatre Society คุณนิกร แซ่ตั้ง จากคณะละครแปดคูณแปด(การแสดงที่ลิโดนี้คุณนิกร ทำงานร่วมกับคณะละครเบบี้ไมม์) และผู้กำกับละครท่านสุดท้ายได้แก่ คุณวรรณศักดิ์ ศิริหล้า จากกลุ่มดอกไม้การบันเทิง

From the Community of Banglumpoo to the Heart of Bangkok
“Bangkok Theatre Festival’s 7th Year with 7 Plays, 7 Directors, and 7 Theatrical Forms
at Lido Multiplex”
The Bangkok Theatre Festival (BTF) was first held in the year 2002. It was an opportunity for people who worked in the field of dramatic arts, such as playhouse members, professors, and artists to meet and collaborate under the name of “Bangkok Theatre Network.” The festival first took place in the Banglumpoo community, where the spark of life became alive and spread to people both in and out of the community.
For its seventh year, the festival has expanded zones out to downtown Bangkok with support from Lido Multiplex, who has provided prominent stage area for this year’s festival. This is the first time Lido has decided to showcase dramatic arts, after previously giving space to arty movies and establishing itself as one of the top movie theatres for quality arty movies hardly found elsewhere.
Lido’s first step into the dramatic arts will be the introduction of seven intense works selected from seven high-profile directors. Four of the works are by Silapathorn Award winners in the field of Performing Arts: Pradit Prasartthong of Makhampom Theatre Group, Pichet Klunchun of Pichet Dance Company, Nimit Pipitkul of Sema Thai Marionette, and Sineenadh Keitprapai of Crescent Moon Theater. The festival will also present works of three talented directors: Damkerng Thitapiyasak of New Theatre Society, Nikorn Saetang of 8x8 Theatre Group (the performance at Lido will be a co-production of Mr.Nikorn and Baby Mime Theatre Group), and Wannasak Sirilar of Flower of Love Entertainment.
Standing out in their own uniqueness, the seven performances are of different theatrical forms, namely a musical, likay, physical theatre, mime, dialogue play, Thai marionette, and dance. The performances start on Saturday, November 22 to December 14. On November 24, there will be a special performance at 8 pm by all four Silapathorn artists, followed by a discussion on the topic “Silapathorn, or Silapatorn?” which is sponsored by the Office of Contemporary Art and Culture, Ministry of Culture.
Seven plays, seven directors, and seven theatrical forms taking place at the heart of Bangkok should mark a promising beginning for city theatre-goers on their experience in the Bangkok Theatre Festival 2008, “Theatre Sparks Life.”
