I have worked as a freelance translator since 2004 and have been a platinum member on proz.com under a different name.
During my early career, I shared my time between my translation jobs and gaining company experience. Among others, I have been a market specialist at the Bank of New York (now Bank of New York Mellon), and more recently an assistant at the European Commission in various fields such as administration, humanitarian aid...

Since Sept 2009, I teach translation and interpretation at the FTI-EII (Faculté de Traduction et d'Interprétation) of the University of Mons (Belgium) where I graduated a few years ago (time flies...).
I am now a full time freelancer and a translation/interpretation teacher.
