PATENT CLAIMS
1. A mixing faucet including a body part (2), where a rotatable swivel tap (4) is mounted on said body part, and where a rotatable valve spindle (6) is mounted in said body part (2) for an adjustment of the feeding of hot water in addition to a rotatable valve spindle (6) for an adjustment of the feeding of cold water, characterised in that the rotatable valve spindle (6) is equipped with a projecting arm (8) engaging a slide (10) arranged on the side of the body part (2), that a projecting member (12) is provided on the body part (2), the slide (10) being displaceable on said projecting member, and that a sleeve (14) is provided at the end of the projecting member (12), a bar (11) connected to the slide (10) being displaceable in said sleeve (14).
2. A mixing faucet according to claim 1, characterised by downwardly open cavities being provided in the body part (2) for the insertion of the valve spindles (6), whereafter a bottom section (20) can be secured, said bottom section allowing feeding of cold and hot water, respectively.
3.A mixing faucet according to claim 2, characterised by the valve spindles (6) and the mating cavities in the body part (2) being structured such that said valve spindles (6) can only be inserted while in a specific angular position relative to said cavities.

Смесителна батерия включваща тяло (2), с инсталирана върху тялото шарнирно въртяща се лебедка (4) и инсталиран в тялото въртящ се прегрàден вал (6) за регулиране подаването на топла вода, както и въртящ се прегрàден вал (6) за регулиране подаването на студена вода, характеризираща се с това, че всеки въртящ се прегрàден вал (6) е снабден с издадено рамо (8), захващащо съответен плъзгач (10), разположен по съответната страна на тялото (2), че е предвиден един издаден елемент (12) върху тялото (2), като плъзгачът (10) може да се премества по този издаден елемент и че е предвидена една втулка (14) на края на издадения елемент (12) и един лост (11), свързан към плъзгача (10), който може да се премества във втулката (14).
2. 2. ПРАВНИ ПОСЛЕДИЦИ
Когато трябва да се направи преценка дали една марка е общоизвестна, трябва да се има предвид целта на разпоредбите на чл. 12, ал. 2 от ЗМГО, касаещи закрилата на общоизвестна марка, които разпоредби са в съответствие с чл. 6 bis на Парижката конвенция и чл. 16 от Споразумението TRIP'S. Известността на марката се преценява въз основа на предоставената от притежателя на марката информация, доказваща наличието или липсата на общоизвестност. Представените доказателства следва да се преценяват от гледна точка на критериите, посочени в чл. 50а, ал. 1 от ЗМГО, които се взимат предвид при определяне на марка като общоизвестна на територията на Република България.
Представени са доказателства съгласно чл. 2, ал. 2 на "Общата препоръка за разпоредби, касаещи закрилата на общоизвестни марки", приета от Асамблеята на Парижкия съюз за закрила на интелектуалната собственост и Генералната асамблея на Световната организация за интелектуална собственост. Критериите, посочени в чл. 50а, ал. 1 от ЗМГО, които се взимат предвид при определяне на една марка като общоизвестна или ползваща се с известност на територията на Република България са следните:
1. степен на известност или признаване на марката в съответната част от обществото, която обхваща действителните или потенциалните потребители на стоки и/или услуги, лицата заети в съответната разпространителска мрежа и деловите кръгове, ангажирани с дадените стоки и/или услуги (т.нар. релевантен сектор или релевантен кръг от потребители);
2. продължителност, степен и географска област на използване на марката;
3. продължителност, степен и географска област на публично представяне на марката, в това число рекламиране, разгласяване или излагане на панаири и/или изложби на стоките и/или услугите, за които се използва марката;
4. данни за успешно прилагане на правата върху марката, ако тя е ригистрирана;
5. стойност на марката.
Преценката следва да се извърши от 01.01.2000 г., от която дата нататък е видно, че молителят счита марката KILLTIX за общоизвестна на територията на Република България. | Translation - English
2. LEGAL CONCLUSIONS
Whenever an assessment is needed as to whether a mark is well-known, one has to bear in mind the object of the provisions of Article 12 (2) of the Law on Marks and Geographical Indications (hereinafter abbreviated as LMGI) regarding protection of well-known marks, which provisions stand in conformity with Article 6bis of the Paris Convention and Article 16 of the TRIP’S Agreement. The popularity of the mark is assessed on the basis of the information provided by the owner, proving the existence or non-existence of well-knowness. The presented evidence should be assessed in accordance with the criteria set out in Article 50а (1) of the LMGI which are taken into consideration when ascertaining whether a given mark is well-known or enjoying well-knowness on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria.
Evidence was presented in accordance with Art. 2 (2) of the General recommendation for regulations relating to the protection of well-known marks adopted by the Assembly of the Paris Union for protection of intellectual property and the General Assembly of the World Intellectual Property Organization. The criteria set out in Art. 50(1) of the LMGI which are taken into consideration when ascertaining whether a given mark is well-known or enjoying well-knowness on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria are the following:
l. extent of popularity or recognition of the mark in the respective part of society which encompasses the actual or potential users of goods and/or services, individuals occupied in the respective distribution network and the business circles dealing with the given goods and/or services (the so called relevant sector or relevant circle of users);
2. duration, extent and geographic area of use of the mark;
3. duration, extent and geographic area of public presentation of the mark, including advertising, announcing or showing at fairs and/or exhibitions of the goods and/or services for which the mark is used;
4. data on successful enforcement of the rights upon the mark provided it is registered;
5. value of the mark.
The assessment must be made as from 01.01.2000, from which date forward it is evident that the suitor considers the mark KILTIX well-known on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria.

I have also successfully translated poetry. When I was still a student, I participated in a university contest for best Bulgarian translation of Sylvia Plath’s poem The Applicant. I won the first prize among 50 contestants and my translation was published in the University Newsletter.
