Since 1998, I have been working for a variety of agencies and independent clients. My main areas of expertise are:

- Environmental issues (reports, surveys, websites, brochures, ...)
- Marketing and communications (annual reports, presentations, brochures, websites,…)

In addition, I regularly translate legal texts such as certificates & contracts and medical information for large health insurance companies.

My standard rates:
Translation: starting from 0.06 GBP per source word
Proofreading: starting from 0.02 GBP per source word
Transcription/subtitling: starting from 3.50 GBP per minute of audio

It would be my pleasure to collaborate with you, regardless of your deadline and volume of work. For those larger assignments, I liaise with a handful of reputable, accurate translators and proofreaders; no job is ever too small or too big!

More information about my languages:

I have recently returned from living & working in South Korea where in addition to translating, I taught English to Korean students from 3 to 75 years old. I am currently living in the South West of England.

My language skills were developed from a young age, being surrounded by a dual culture with my French father and my Indonesian mother. I grew up in 5 countries (The Netherlands, Angola, Indonesia, Brunei, France) before going to university in the UK.

I studied business and translation. I then worked in international marketing before honing my communication skills in the environmental sector. My responsibilities in both fields included commissioning translation assignments for various communication materials and I translated several brochures and reports myself.
In parallel, I also taught French, English and Indonesian, in both one-to-one as well as within groups. These experiences gave me an initial insight into the buzzing world of linguists and in 2005, I decided to work for myself.
