Bio
I am highly qualified specifically IN translation. I have a MA in Translation Studies in European Context and BSc degree in Translation Studies and German, both from Aston University, UK.

I have 2 years of experience as a freelance interpreter (English - Latvian/Russian/German) and translator (English into Latvian/Latvian into English), mainly focusing on public services. However, during my education, I have undertaken diverse translation projects in various fields, developing special interest in food and beverage industries, tourism and leisure, marketing and advertising.

The methods of research and approach to translation learned during my 5 years of translation education enable me to take on projects without being limited to a specific field and deliver the highest quality standards.

Apart from this I am currently working as a project manager in a translation company. This allows me to see all sides and parts of the industry and expand my vision.
