A recent article in eLearn's sister publication, Communications of the ACM (CACM), engaged readers with the foreboding title "The Internet Education Bandwagon: Look Before You Leap" [10]. The body of the article contained many statements that were equally ominous—such as the conclusions section, which began: "Loss of education quality as a result of Internet delivery is the major concern identified in this survey." Since CACM is an outlet of considerable prestige in both computer science and my own discipline—MIS—such a grim prognosis for the future of Internet-based learning warrants serious attention.

Nedavni članak u sestrinskom izdanju eLearna, Communications of the ACM (CACM), zaokupio je pozornost čitatelja proricateljskim naslovom "Internetska obrazovna paradna kola: Poledaj prije nego što skočiš" [10]. Članak je sadržavao niz izjava koje su zvučale jednako zlokobno - poput zaključka koji je glasio: "Gubitak kakvoće obrazovanja kao rezultat izvođenja nastave putem Interneta glavni je problem prepoznat u ovom istraživanju." Budući da je CACM je vrlo prestižan predstavnik računalnih znanosti i moje discipline – MIS-a (Management of Information Systems – Upravljanje informacijskim sustavima) - ovako mračna predviđanja budućnosti obrazovanja putem Interneta zahtijevala su ozbiljnu pozornost.

Within “Operative Purchasing incl. Changes” different variants have to be considered:
• Third party purchasing
The output of this variant is to purchase raw materials and components/equipment from an external supplier. The supplier will supply the item complete, including engineering calculations or other engineering services. There can be also the demand that xxx has to provide own raw material/components – it does not matter if it comes direct from xxx stock or not.
• Subcontracting
The output of this variant is to purchase value added services from an external supplier. The key concept is that the supplier only provides a service to a raw material or a work in process (supplied by xxx or another supplier). The resulting product may be a finished product or a work in process, requiring further operations before being considered finished. These products can be normally manufactured in one of the xxx workshops but based on different criteria (e.g.: production costs, workshop capacity, etc) a decision to sub-contract may be made.

Dobavljač isporučuje kompletan proizvod, uključujući inženjerske kalkulacije ili druge inženjerske usluge. Može se postaviti I zahtjev da xxx mora osigurati sirovinu/komponente – nije važno jesu li to xxx-ove zalihe ili ne.
• Podugovori
Ishod ove varijante sastoji se u kupnji usluge s dodanom vrijednošću od vanjskog dobavljača. Ključni je concept da dobavljač osigurava samo uslugu za obradu sirovine ili rad u tijeku (koji osigurava xxx ili drugi dobavljač). Rezultat toga može biti gotovi proizvod ili rad u tijeku, koji zahtijeva dodatne radnje prije nego što se može smatrati dovršenim. Ovi se proizvodi inače mogu proizvesti u xxx- ovoj radionici, ali uz dva uvjeta (npr. Troškovi proizvodnje, proizvodni kapaciteti, itd) može se odlučiti o dodjeljivanju ugovora podizvođaču.
