Any new ideas, discoveries, inventions, copyrighted materials and other works ("Inventions and Works") arising from the performance of the duties of the X employees and third party contractors (including independent consultants) engaged by X may be of commercial interest and value and the adoption of a sound Intellectual Property Rights ("IPR") policy can often hasten and enhance the effective commercialisation of such Inventions and Works. X will seek specific and formal IPR protection for those Inventions and Works which appear necessary or desirable.
This Policy seeks to meet the above objectives through the following principles:
i. Identification, disclosure and declaration of any newly originated or developed Inventions and Works made by X employees. This identification and declaration approach is vital to improve vigilance and to avoid potentially valuable and viable Inventions and Works falling through the cracks.
ii. Analysis of the commercial and technical viability of such Inventions and Works. At times, an Invention or a Work may have potential applicability other than what it was originally created for.
iii. Seeking formal IPR protection (where applicable) for such Inventions and Works, to ensure that we secure ownership rights to the foregoing, such protection may include (one or more of the following):
• Patents
• Copyright
• Database rights
• Trade marks
• Registered designs
• Layout designs of integrated circuits
• Know-how and confidential information.
iv. Commercialising the Inventions and Works.

Любые новые идеи, открытия, изобретения, материалы, охраняемые авторскими правами, и другие работы («работы и изобретения»), появляющиеся во время выполнения служебных обязанностей сотрудниками компаний X и подрядчиками третьих сторон (включая независимых консультантов), работающими на X, могут представлять торговый интерес и иметь коммерческую ценность; принятие правильной стратегии по охране прав интеллектуальной собственности может ускорить и улучшить эффективность коммерциализации подобных изобретений и работ. Компания Х ищет особую формальную стратегию по защите прав интеллектуальной собственности для подобных изобретений и работ, являющихся для компании необходимыми и желанными.
Согласно данной стратегии, к достижению поставленных целей компания будет идти, выполняя следующие действия:
i. Идентификация, раскрытие и заявление о любых недавно выполненных работах или разработанных изобретениях служащими компании Х. Подобный подход к идентификации и заявлению является необходимым, чтобы улучшить бдительность и избежать снижения стоимости потенциально дорогостоящих изобретений и работ и их жизнеспособности.
ii. Анализ коммерческой и технической ценности изобретений и работ. Иногда изобретение или работа могут применяться в области, отличной от той, для которой данное изобретение или работа выполнялись.
iii. Поиск официальной защиты прав интеллектуальной собственности (где это возможно) для подобных изобретений и работ, чтобы гарантировать, что мы охраняем права собственности вышеупомянутых предметов, и в подобную защиту могут быть включены (один или несколько показателей):
• Патент
• Авторское право
• Право в базе данных патентов
• Товарный знак

The Zone Configuration Manager (ZCM) application is used to enter configuration information for infrastructure objects within a zone. The ZCM objects are divided into the following logical groups: Radio System Infrastructure and (Network) Management Infrastructure. The ZCM Main Window is divided into two physical areas, the Navigation Pane and the Contents Pane. The Navigation Pane displays icons for each of the configurable objects in a logical hierarchy. The Contents Pane displays any records associated with an object selected in the Navigation Pane. The following secondary windows are opened from the Main Window:
(a) Configuration Window. These windows are used to create or modify the records for the objects in the Navigation Pane. The attributes that can be modified in each configuration window are dependant on the associated object.
(b) Report Window. These windows are used to generate data summaries for the purpose of either viewing the information or exporting the information to a file.
(c) Find Window. These windows are used to enter search criteria for an object and display any records for the object that match the search criteria.
(d) Values Window. These windows work the same as the Find window with the following difference: The Values window allows a search of the database on a particular field.
(e) Security Groups Selection Window. This window is used to filter the records displayed in an application based on the security group and permissions assigned to each object. Each user is given access to one or more security groups.
(f) Diagnostics Window. These windows are used to change the functional state for some objects. An example would be disabling a non-functional channel or forcing a site into site trunking.

Приложение Диспетчера конфигурации зоны (ДКЗ - ZCM) используется для введения информации конфигурации для объектов инфраструктуры в пределах зоны. Объекты ДКЗ делятся на следующие логические группы: Инфраструктура системы радиостанции и Инфраструктура сетевого управления. Главное окно ДКЗ разделено на две области: панель навигации (Navigation Pane) и панель содержимого (Contents Pane). В панели навигации отображены иконки для каждого объекта конфигурации в логической иерархии. Панель содержимого отображает записи, относящиеся к объекту, выбранному в панели навигации. Следующие вторичные окна открываются из основного окна:
(а) Окно Конфигурации. Данные окна используются для создания или модификации записей для объектов в панели навигации. Атрибуты, которые могут быть изменены в каждом окне конфигурации, зависят от сопутствующего объекта.

(е) Окно диагностики.
Данное окно используется для изменения функционального статуса объектов. Примером был бы запрет на применение недействующего канала или принудительное объединение узла в узел.
В данном тесте демонстрируется удаленная блокировка базовой радиостанции (БР - BR) и свойства окна поиска приложения ДКЗ.
