Translation - English The bus follows the foot of the evening sun hill,
the moles on the nape of the conductor are
a carbon copy of the ones who had split,
poignant vestiges in a traveling heart.
The pale image of the one who will not come back
in a far, foreign land I already forgot,
how many towns of the north had passed
in the misty eyes of a traveling heart.
The stalks of the wild rice bend in the wind
Dancing in water twirl the fallen leaves,
the pity of the autumn in this world -
quietly and deeply in the chest, goes the bus.
Even if I look up at the evening sun hill
even if I travel to the edge of the sea
as long as I have my fruitless life
I will feel the pangs of a wounded heart.
In our child, in our love
falls the evening sun and hurts the eyes.
Oh, dusk over this farewell hill
no other autumn will be there to call.

| Bulgarian to English: Молитва за дъжд / A prayer for rain General field: Art/Literary Detailed field: Poetry & Literature | Source text - Bulgarian И колкото да гледам и да се взирам
Translation - English No matter how intently I look and how much I stare
the desert sky hangs above my head
like a barren lyre.
It is not that the sky in me is empty,
it is not that the rivers in me are dead,
it is not that the cities in me are unresponsive
and like desert whirlwinds the streets are spinning me in them;
but because I did not foresee the Drought
but because I threw stones into all sources
and wasted myself all over the place
and spent myself over trifles
without sparing an ounce...
Rain!
It will not rain.
Don’t wanna believe it? Don’t wanna believe it?
Your heart is aching for a drop.
But the rain is gone,
gone is the color of love.
But it is now time,
it’s high time it starts to rain.
It is just some hour,
only some slender minute
that separates me from the Big Rain.
This is why I cry at the clouds
and I curse, and I fear.
Clouds, dreams made of rain or of dust,
I curse you and I love you like first sin.
Rain!
