I am a recent graduate of the MA Translation and Interpreting Studies at the University of Manchester. took courses in commercial, scientific and technical translation. My particular area of interest is in academic publications such as journals. For the dissertation I translated an academic article from Russian to English about the relationship between two Russian authors. The dissertation included a commentary in which I discussed the ethics of translating academic documents, and how this influenced my translation.
