About me
I am a native Korean speaker living in the U.S. with two years experience as a professional translator. I hold a four year degree in translation and interpreting. I specialize in copy writing, business, commerce, economics, law, medical equipment, real estate and marketing.

I studied English translation from Dan-kook University and that provided me with solid training in writing at a highly specialized, professional level and I have been able to apply and further develop this during my professional experience as translator. My passion for global issues and languages motivates me to keep learning and to set myself high quality standards, in order to render texts that are faultless from the point of view of grammar, orthography, punctuation and style.

As a freelance Korean translator, I am highly competent in formatting translated documents, inserting photos (experience with Adobe Photoshop and other graphics programs.), dealing with high volumes of text, and translating in various formats other than Word documents including Adobe PDF, SDL Trados, and Power Point.

I have a bilingual background (English/Korean). I was born in Korea and I’ve taught English to Korean students for six years. I’ve lived in the U.S. for three years.

As you can see by my resume and blog, http://blog.naver.com/offline3, I believe I would be a good candidate for your job as an excellent translator.

Thank you for your consideration.

Sincerely,
Aeri teel
