About me
Thank you for visiting my profile! I look forward to helping you with all of your translation needs.

In May 2015, I graduated from the University of Kentucky with a B.A. in French and Francophone Studies. While there, I participated in a long-term study abroad program in Caen, France, during which my French fluency grew exponentially. I am currently enrolled at the University of Oregon, where I am in the second-year of an M.A. program in French, specializing in translation.

At the UO, I am a part-time instructor of French, and I have extensive experience teaching the first-year sequence for beginning students. I am currently teaching French at the advanced level, and all of the attention to grammatical detail that I am constantly honing as a professor will be reflected in the high quality translations that I will provide to you.

Aside from teaching, I have had the opportunity to work hands-on with translation in many ways while at the University of Oregon, primarily through the translation of novels for various seminars.

With that being said, my skills as a translator are not at all limited to literature. Prior to beginning graduate school, I worked for several years as both an inpatient and outpatient pharmacy technician, meaning that I have a great knowledge of pharmaceutical vocabulary. In the past, I have been CPhT certified, though I did not renew my license upon expiration since I am currently working in translation rather than pharmacy.

While I feel that medical translation is my strongest field, I am by no means opposed to translating in other areas; on the contrary, I welcome the experience!

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions regarding my qualifications or if you have a job for which you think I would be well-suited. I also encourage you to check my Upwork profile for more of my work history as well as client reviews that were received through that portal.
