Diverse Untersuchungen von Banken zeigen, dass viele Institutionelle und auch die meisten Kleinanleger kein Gold in ihrem Portfolio haben. Zu Unrecht. Denn das gelbe Edelmetall ist, ob als Aktie, physisches Gold oder derivatives Produkt, auch nach dem rasanten Preisanstieg weiterhin attraktiv - als gute Inflationsversicherung oder bei den heutigen Unzen-Preisen noch immer als Spekulationsobjekt.
Nicht alle Edelmetallpreise befinden sich auf Höhenflug. Doch auf Gold ist Verlass, und das soll so bleiben. Anleger, die infolge hoher Ölpreise einen Inflationsanstieg befürchten, haben eine besondere Vorliebe für das gelbe Metall.
Die australische Equigold betreibt derzeit zwei Minen in Australien. Das Unternehmen hat 2005 rund 160 000 Unzen Gold gefördert. 2006 dürften es etwa gleich viel sein. Jetzt aber plant Equigold an der Elfenbeinküste den Bau einer neuen Mine. Gemäß Konzernchef Mark Clark ist das Unternehmen in der ehemals französischen Kolonie als Arbeitgeber äußerst willkommen. Man erwartet keinerlei politische Hindernisse. Zudem wird das Projekt in einer politisch stabilen Region verwirklicht. Der Bau der Mine soll im Jahr 2007 erfolgen, die Produktion im Frühjahr 2008. La société Equigold exploite deux mines en Australie. En 2005, elle y a extrait environ 160 000 onces d'or. On attend le même résultat pour 2006. Et Equigold projette la construction d'une nouvelle mine en Côte d'Ivoire. Le patron du groupe, Mark Clark, se réjouit de l'accueil de son entreprise, dans l'ancienne colonie française. Il ne craint pas des obstacles politiques et il compte sur la stabilité de la région. La construction de la mine devrait débuter en 2007 et le démarrage de la production est planifié pour le printemps 2008.
