I specialise in social sciences and the environment/ecology, in addition to alternative medicines and spiritual development, tourism, the arts and music.
I have worked directly or indirectly with the "Diputacions" of Girona and Barcelona, the "Departament del Medi Ambient" and its various departments, the Town Councils of Barcelona and Girona as well as others on the Costa Brava, Eco Mediterranea, the Law Courts of Girona and Barcelona, the Archaeological Museums of Catalonia – Empuries, Girona and Ullastret, publicity agents, estate agents, etc. I collaborated with the translation of the Gran Enciclopèdiaand the Barcelona Forum of the Cultures and have had numerous leaflets for tourists as well as half a dozen books I translated published, including two by the Catalan painter, Lluís Roura and one about Dalí for the Museu de l'Empordà in Figueres, in addition to several catalogues for art museums.
I work for translation agencies throughout Spain and Europe.
I worked on a voluntary basis in local radio for some years and have done several recordings in English for audioguides for an art museum.

A native British English speaker living in Catalonia, Spain since 1983, I have an excellent knowledge of both Catalan and Spanish languages and culture.
I originally trained as a primary school teacher specialising in Music, I later trained as a TEFL teacher, and more recently got a BA (Open) majoring in psychology. My main interests are Ecology and the Environment, reading, the cinema and spiritual growth and development.
