Born and raised in South Africa, I have been a translator since moving to Portugal in 1998. I specialise in legal, business and finance translations, as well as translations for the tourism industry. However, with over 20 years' experience, I also translate a variety of press releases, newsletters, news articles and corporate literature for many different sectors of activity. In addition to translating, I also revise and edit documents written in English. I am well versed in both US and British English, am Qualified MITI in both the Portuguese-English and English-Portuguese pairs, a member of the CIOL, and certified to ISO17100:2015 and ISO18587:2017.
