- Computer aided engineering (including FORTRAN, CAD, CAM (aka. CNC machining), FEA (aka. FEM), numerical methods)
Additional areas of knowledge (not including language or literature):
- Basic electrical engineering (during BEng)
- Business and management (courses in financial management, business management, demand management, time management, team working, negotiation skills, telephone manner, quality systems; experience in customer service)
- Other computing (mainly through experience and interest in computing, programming, web authoring and technical support; courses and experience in computing skills for office applications; tutoring and technical support.)
- Law (through course in employment law, including an introduction to English law. One of my main areas of translation experience is in contracts, particularly commercial leases. Also have experience with other legal documents.)
