When the conducting elements 46 and 48 have connection parts 22 including two housings 26 as shown in figure 5, one of the housings can be used for introducing one jumper wire. The corresponding wire connected to the automatic switch is connected to the rear pin 58 and there is still a housing 26 for making a T connection.
Cut off and test plugs can be introduced in each of the holes 50 and provide for either cutting of the connection, or verification of the circuit from the automatic switch side and/or the jumper side.
This embodiment makes it possible to double the capacity of the connector panel relative to the number of contacts, in comparison with the known connector panels, by increasing the thickness of the modular connector panel. The result however is a smaller overall bulk and greater simplicity.
