Process / workflow description Translation Cycle of Work
PHASE (1): ANALYSIS & PREPARATION
Project Management (if applicable)
A dedicated project manager will be assigned to mastermind the project. He will be the direct contact with the
client and will be responsible for delivering the project according to our quality matrix, on time, and up
to the client’s expectations. His responsibility includes preparing project schedule, communicating with the
client, internal resourcing, status reporting, quality control and delivering the project safely to the Client.
Files Analysis
This is a very important phase of the project. The output of this phase is: accurate sizing of the project,
listing all tasks to be accomplished, and preparing files for translation. The Localization Engineering
Department is responsible for this phase.
Terminology Setup
This is another essential phase and a building block in any translation project we undergo. We have to
extract all the terms and build a term database (terminology), translate it, and then send it to the client for
approval. This is very important to make sure that the client will be satisfied with the final translation and to
ensure an accurate and consistent translation of the whole project. The Translation Department will be
responsible for the terminology setup phase.
PHASE (2-3): TRANSLATION AND REVISION
Experienced senior translators and in the field of the theme will be allocated for the project. After the
translation is finished the reviewer will review the translation semantically and linguistically. After finishing the
engineering work, there will be the linguistic testing phase by a linguistic Reviewer.
PHASE (4): ENGINEERING (if applicable)
Professional Localization engineers will go through:
Alignment of forms, reports and tables.
Editing support.
Application behavior (hotkeys, text formatting, etc.).
PHASES (5-7): Testing
Linguistic Testing
1. Checking translation consistency and usability.
2. Checking text position, truncations, text editing, text formatting, etc.
3. Functional Testing (if applicable).
4. Complete testing of the localized application.
5. Localization testing of forms and forms.
6. Checking of controls sizing, cropped controls, hot key conflicts, right aligning controls, menu testing, etc.

for our freelance employees that we do for our full-time employees. The only difference between our freelance
