My Automotive Industry/Engineering/Mechanics specific content experience includes automobile service & repair manuals, owner’s manuals, autoparts and car systems descriptions (transmission, electricity, body, engine), technical bulletins, procedures and work instructions, training material, safety procedures, type approval certificates (noise and exhaust emissions), NCG cylinders specifications and certifications, variable reach material handler manual, tow truck manual, standard line turbine flowmeter, etc. Other type of information include automotive industry press releases, magazine articles, marketing material and brochures. Two million words translated in 15 years of translation work in this field.

In the Agriculture/Ecology/Environment field, my specific translation experience has to do with texts from an Agricultural Technology government agency, which works with similar institutions, universities and international agencies (IAEA, Research Institutes, USDA, EU agencies, IFPRI, UNFCCC, European Commision Research Directorate-General, IRD, UNIDO, CAAS, etc.).

I have completed extensive translation projects in the Human Resources field working on training manuals, guidelines, surveys, reports, methodologies and procedures. Specific HR material translated: job descriptions, position content summaries, corporate identity, company culture guidelines, key results areas (KRA), employee engagement, action planning, performance management process, performance management assessment (PMA), 360° feedback, innovation process, coaching skills, corporate identity, company guidelines, mission and vision, employee/leader behavior manual, performance & development management guides, employee compliance manual, and other texts.
Projects translated in this field amount to 1 million words or more.

In the Information Technology translation field, I have translated and reviewed Spanish texts for a US-based software company and translation agencies. Material translated and reviewed dealt with software solutions/applications and networks collateral material, marketing and technical projects, brochures, flyers, press releases, software specifications, success stories, distribution emails, customer loyalty programs, license contracts and other material. Other material translated were magazines articles for publication in Latin America, CRM software, IT Department Alignment Principles, etc.
