About me
I am pleased to introduce myself as a UK based Freelance Registered Public Service Interpreter (RPSI) and English <> Urdu Translator and facilitate profit, non-profit, governmental and research organizations in communicating social, research and business related messages to their target groups who understand only the English-Urdu language pair.

Particularly in social research domain I have worked for several prestigious research projects in the areas of education, health, psychology, social life, marketing etc. and have assisted prestigious research organizations in the UK like Ipsos Mori and Understanding Society in completing forward and backward translation of research questionnaires, research protocols and other related documents.

I also have had the opportunity to translate information brochures, leaflets, newsletters, operational manuals, immigration documents, divorce certificate, property documents, marriage certificates, degrees/diplomas, legal contracts, lease agreements, affidavits, wills, information booklets advertisement, official letters, research reports, contract documents, books and many more promotional materials of similar kind.

By virtue of my being a full member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists, London, I can provide certified/attested copies of marriage certificates, death certificates, divorce certificates, birth certificates, affidavits, and other documents used in support of immigration applications.

Being a Freelance English <> Urdu Translator and Interpreter with over 20 years experience in this language pair I hold a valid Enhanced Criminal Record Bureau (CRB) check and registered with several leading multinational translation and interpreting agencies as a Translator and Interpreter for many years and hold a Professional Indemnity Insurance cover of GBP250,000. I use SDL Trados 2007 and TagEditor for English<>Urdu translation and in addition to this I possess the following linguistic qualifications:

In English <> Urdu translation domain I have developed the ability to convey accurate and correct message to the target audience in a suitable tone while remaining within acceptable standard. I believe this is an art accomplished only by gaining year’s long experience, knowledge, abilities and skills. Having translation experience, extended over almost two decades, I have developed perfect command of the native language in terms of applying accurate grammar, spelling, phrases, and styles and have gained an effective ability to produce target translation tailored to match the particular needs of its intended audience.

I fully understand the importance of confidentiality and sensitive natures of all of my clients and their work environment especially those who deal with minors, children, and vulnerable people and community groups. I have been working in legal, social sciences, government, IT, medical, social research related studies since 1990.
