Freelance translator and proof-reader since 1998 : I translate from ENGLISH, FRENCH, GERMAN and SPANISH ONLY into ITALIAN.

My fields are mainly marketing, journalism/media, multimedia, humanities, tourism, subtitling, adaptation for advertisements, and videogames localisation.
I also deal with slightly technical texts, medicine and HR. I can use and own many CAT TOOLS like OmegaT, SDLX, Dèjàvu, Across, and SDL Trados 7.2. I am keen in Internet searches techniques and Boolean variables.

In the field of VIDEOGAMES I co-operate with Microsoft Games Studios, Ireland. Up to now I have been translating various game scripts, manuals, etc. Just to mention a few: Kingdom Under Fire , SceneIT, Ninja gaiden 2....

For Codemasters UK I've localised "Overlord: Dark Legend" for the Wii platform (I am mentioned in the credits) and did other minor projects, mainly marketing-related.

I also co-operate with other minor European videogames publishers. In the last few months I was involved in the Italian localisation (from German) of an edutainment game created with the aim to teach French to children (buddy French). From German I also translated GEOlino, Der Schatz der Delfine, and other titles for the Nintendo DS platform.
