About me
Born and educated in South Korea (BA in Business), I once worked and learned in California, U.S.A. (Beverly Wilshire Hotel & LACC/CSULA), worked in various fields back home in Korea, and then finally became a full-time translator.

To provide translations that meet your quality standards, I focus on understanding what's meant in the original text, do appropriate research when necessary, and take time to convey what's meant into a concise, modern Korean language:

Pre-translation study
I know it’s important to understand the material before I actually translating it. Time spent before translation pays off in terms of quality and consistency. Also it provides adequate time for me to ask questions to clients.

Keywords and concepts
Every language is different and I believe translation is not just converting one language into another, word for word. While trying hard to maintain client-provided terms in a consistent manner, I take time to think what’s best for every word, expression, and their meaning in translation.

Attention to details
I believe what's good for my clients is also good for myself, so I meticulously follow clients’ requirements, and go extra miles to ensure translation quality.

I specialize in:

- Automotive translation: service/sales/owner's manuals, technical/marketing/press material
- Business translation: financial/market reports, internal/external documents
- Website localization: manufacturing & service companies, government agencies
