Fogyasztói véleményeket és magatartásokat vizsgáló felméréseink alátámasztják, hogy a kapott válaszok viszonylagos hiányosságaiból és a fogyasztói attitűdből adódóan szükségesnek bizonyul az általános tájékoztató anyagok, a speciális információs dokumentumok szélesebb körű kiadása és terjesztése a fogyasztók körében.
A magyar gazdaságban is elsőrangú érdek, hogy a fogyasztók kellő tájékozottsággal, felkészültséggel bírjanak az élelmiszer-biztonsági kockázatok értékelésében. Megállapítható, hogy hazánkban is alapvető fontosságú annak megismerése, hogy az egyes gazdasági szereplők milyen mértékben képesek a fogyasztói magatartás átalakítására, a fogyasztók tudatos nevelésére az élelmiszer-biztonság területén.
Az élelmiszer-ellenőrző hatóságok tevékenysége és a fogyasztók helyes informálása által helytálló vélemény kialakítása együttesen képesek mind objektív, mind szubjektív szempontból megteremteni a magasabb szintű élelmiszer-biztonságot.
A betegségükből és végzettségükből adódóan nagyobb tudatossággal és magasabb szintű egészségkultúrával rendelkező érzékeny fogyasztók tisztában vannak az egészségi állapotuk és a táplálkozásuk közötti szoros kapcsolattal, ezért általában a megszokottnál több figyelmet fordítanak az étrendjük összeállítására, ugyanakkor nagyobb szükségük van a különleges tájékoztatásra.

Our surveys analysing consumer opinions and attitudes support – based on the relatively deficient replies and consumer attitudes – that more comprehensive publication and distribution of general informative materials as well as special informative documents is required.
It is vital interest in Hungarian economy so that consumers have adequate knowledge and grounding when evaluating food-safety risks. It can be established that even in Hungary it is of primary importance to realize to what extent each participant of the economy can reshape consumer attitude and consciously teach consumers in the field of food-safety.
The activity of official food control and the shaping of a reliable opinion by informing consumers properly together are able to create higher-level food-safety from both an objective and a subjective point of view.
Due to their illnesses and qualifications sensible consumers, who possess higher consciousness as well as higher-level health culture are aware of the strong relationship between their state of health and nutrition, therefore they pay more attention than the average to their diet, and then again they need further special information.
