Woodlands Waterfront
The Woodlands Waterfront project is part of the Parks and Waterbodies plan
exhibited by URA in 2002, which seeks to enhance Singapore's green spaces
and waterbodies on an island-wide basis. The proposal for this project was
first featured during the Woodlands Improvement Plan exhibition in 2001/2002.
Seeking to create new recreational destinations for the residents of
Woodlands and other nearby residential estates, facilities such as a new 1.5
km long waterfront promenade and a 9 ha interim coastal park will be created,
nestled at this little known stretch of serene and tranquil coastline.
The Woodlands Waterfront will form part of the comprehensive network of
parks and park connectors in the area and is intended to provide connectivity
for the residents to the waterfront area for recreational purposes. With its
completion, more of the northern waterfront will be accessible for public
enjoyment. It will also be linked to the recently completed Admiralty Park and
the park connector along Woodlands Centre Road in the future.
The Promenade – Bring you closer to the water edge
Designed for the avid exercise-goers or simply for a family to take a
stroll, the promenade is conceived as a linear recreational and exercise
trail with unobstructed, expansive views of the Johor Straits. It will
cantilever over the existing rubble walled coastline over the waters, thus
dissolving the hard and rugged edge and re-introducing a more refined
and light interface with the sea. The promenade will be kept shady by
existing and new species of trees.
Park by the Sea – Fun for all in the family
The park will be a major recreational destination that capitalizes on the
sea frontage. Distinctive “green outdoor rooms” will be created to
accommodate various sports activities and community events amongst
other possible recreational uses. The design of the park leverages on
the existing terrain and contours to create interesting spaces with
screen walls to provide surprises and direct interesting views within the
park.
The park has 3 distinctive zones - the Picnic & Camping Zone west of
the jetty, the Central Spinal Zone along the axis of the jetty, and the
rugged Nature & Activity Zone to the east.

Today, ATM is avaialable even at T S R Big Street of Kumbakonam. The story of Robots too would become like this only. Today, they are celebrated as the ones owned by Japanese. Tomorrow, they may come and reside in our houses also. It seems that for most of people the difficult job is to clean the house. May be because of this, the first domestic robots that have come/are about to come would vacuum clean the house and remain there as security to the house.
This being the case at home, the face of Robots has become a devil face in the country. SWORDS
(special weapons observation remote reconnaissance direct action system) There is information that American Robots, called as SWORDS (special weapons observation remote reconnaissance direct action system) are to wander with M249 machine guns, in the streets of Iraq cities.
