When Tracey Friley, creator and principal of OneBrownGirl.com(R) (OBG), won first prize at the Black Enterprise Elevator Pitch Competition in 2008, she had no idea that less than two years later she would be penning a book meant to help kids cope with being bullied by racial slurs.
