Studied Russian 4 years at MIT (while double-majoring in Mathematics and Computer Science) 1967-1971. Also MS degree in Computer Science, 1980.



Studied Church Slavonic at an Orthodox seminary 1971-1975, and have also translated many pages for church needs (unpublished).



Extensive past experience with publisher of Soviet journal translations until 1991, specializing in math and physics (Plenum Publishing). Was also contract translator with JPRS, and have done translation jobs for other agencies and companies.



Translated book "Research on Chemical Lasers" from Lebedev Institute of Physics, listed on www.amazon.com under my name as translator.



Have translated and am soon to print a 500-page reference book in Carpatho-Russian history and culture. I also edited 1983-1989 a small monthly bilingual (Russian/English) newsletter.



I have translated many Russian webpages into English (preserving all html), especially for Orthodox Church and pro-life organizations in Russia.
