Mechatronics Engineer, graduated in 2012 at MIQ.
DEC in Mechanical Engineering in 2007.
DEC in Project Management, data systems integration in 2004.
As opposed to developing a purely literary education I have pursued engineering to make use of both my lettered proclivities and technical expertise.
I enjoy translating and editing product manuals and working with the Quebec Bureau of French Language to ensure a working and understandable nomenclature in the developing world of technology for the Canadian French consumer.
I contend I bring simplicity and conceptual understanding to my translation products as opposed to complexity and esoterism, usually resultant from lack of first-hand experience in the subject matter.
I believe this is a critical asset in translating technical products to a generic audience, especially where clarity and understanding is key.
I am specialized in mechanics, electromechanics and software localization but keep an open portfolio to other fields and am always happy to see whether the project fits my experience.
Presently I am the translator for CIDOC CRM.
I have worked for such clients as Agrofood Canada, the Ministry of transportation Canada, General Electrics Healthcare, Hyundai motors, Kia motors, Britax and Yaskawa.
I hope to hear from you soon:
