BIO:
Angelika holds both a J.D. as well as a PhD in law from Albert-Ludwigs-University School of Law, Freiburg, and is admitted to practice in Germany. Her experience extends beyond German legal issues as she has lived and worked in France, Japan, and Brazil in addition to Germany and the US and is familiar with those countries’ cultures and business practices which enable her to meet her clients’ cross-cultural needs.
Angelika has supported many corporate clients and law firms in their international transactions, both inbound and outbound, immigration law, and general corporate law. She has significant experience in reviewing and translating foreign legal, tax, litigation, and corporate documents for over 15 years.
Prior to founding Gruber International Group, LLC, Angelika worked for several law firms in Germany and Brazil and as International Legal Adviser and Operations Executive for an international real estate development and investment firm in South Florida.
Within her consulting practice she worked with real estate and other national and international companies as well as law firms consulting on their operational, IT, and HR management. She was also responsible for business-related immigration law, such as temporary visas, labor certifications, green cards, U.S.-citizenship and dual citizenship in cooperation with local attorneys. She also managed and coordinated the international and foreign law matters of the companies she worked for. Angelika holds a FL real estate license and has worked on many projects involving real estate development.
Angelika has done research as an assistant at the Institute of Foreign and International Private Law at the University of Freiburg, Germany and as a Foreign Research Scholar at the Institute for International Law and Politics at the University of Tokyo, Japan, where she received a scholarship for her research on her PhD thesis and lectured on different aspects of German law.

Angelika received the title "Doctor of Law" (Dr. jur.) with the academic degree "summa cum laude" from Albert-Ludwigs-University, Freiburg. The publication of her thesis was sponsored by sponsored by Arthur Andersen, Hamburg and Asahi & Co., Tokyo.

My other specialty is the translation of dressage riding books. As an avid rider and trainer up to Grand Prix level I have studied 100s of dressage books in both English and German and am intimately familiar with the terminology as well as the audience.
