I am currently pursuing two lifetime interests and passions: language teaching and interpreting/translations. I like to research in order to gain more insights in my working languages and I strive to get the essence and the feel of the text. I am flexible and build up an effective rapport with project managers and clients and I always meet the delivery deadline.

My experience includes: legal documents (plea agreements, witnesses’ testimonies, police investigation reports), interpreting for victims of human trafficking; HR documents, draft proposal, educational transcripts, conference interpreting, Romanian language testing, voice over’s; technical translations for the industry of mining and petroleum; phone interpreting. I am currently working for DHS/ICE on an intermittent basis.

I have also worked with immigrant adult learners and developmentally challenged adults; I have experience in career guidance and staff development coordination and I currently teach ESL at a NY community college on a part time basis.
