My advantages
I was born in Italy on 24/02/1954 and I've ever lived in Italy, at or nearby Turin.
I'm a Doctor in Veterinary Medicine with 18 years in a pet practice, were I coped with medicine and surgery of cats and dogs. Then, I worked in a vet laboratory, LAV by Dr Ariotti, doing blood analyzes, spectrophotometry and immunological tests, and 6 months at Pinerolo ASL, coping with immunization and blood sampling of cows, swine and sheep.
I attended as an observer 1 years at Turin Dermatologic San Lazzaro Hospital, and 6 months at Molinette Hospital, Obstetric Department, where I followed many laboratory, clinic and surgical cases. Then, I spent 6 months at Turin Molinette Hospital, Enterology Department directed by Pr. Pozzetto, to study immunological trials and endoscopy. Finally, I attended a 3 months stage in Tropical Medicine at OIT-ILO.
I started to become very fond of IT in 1982 when I bought my first "PC", a Commodore 64. Thereafter, I had all versions of IBMs, from my first XT to the current Pentium Intel dual core. With the Commodore 64 and the IBM XT. I learned the BASIC language, being even able to make and sell some animated movies to one of the first commercial TVs in Turin. Since then, my passion for computers had never ceased. I've installed and used thousands of softwares, and this is why I'm so skilled in using softwares and doing software localization.
Beyond my work experiences, I've ever had a strong passion for nature and science, I've read for decades the leading English scientific magazines, as Scientific American and National Geographic, and currently I subscribe both. I'm an amateur photographer & web designer.
