About me
A highly educated freelance translator working from French, Spanish and German into clear and concise first-language English, I specialise in easy-to-read, natural translations of technical and scientific texts. I have extensive experience translating documents relating to software interfaces and help files, healthcare, pharmaceutical research, international development agencies and bodies, marketing and corporate literature. I enjoy researching new subjects and stick to instructions and guidelines. I work with a range of corporate clients, private individuals and agencies to deliver the best possible job on schedule and within budget. Most importantly, I love what I do!

Additional skills
I've worked with several web-based content management systems and have a good working knowledge of Trados, Wordfast and Déjà Vu. I'm also familiar with DTP packages such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. I have experience of writing for the web, and maintain a professional blog here.
Most importantly, I don't rest on my laurels. I invest a lot of resources in the ongoing development of both my translation and subject-specific skills. I'm fortunate to have regular contact with a strong network of experienced colleagues and take occasional short-term inhouse positions.
