Layered over this backdrop are busy people and bicycles. Big cars. Little cars. Motorized carts on three wheels. Often a motorcade sporting the flag of some country or other hastens across the picture toward the nearby state guesthouse. And, naturally, there is the constant succession of sight-seeing buses loaded with all kinds of people who enter the Sichuan restaurant smiling and come back out sweaty and sniffling.
At different times of day, different people enter the frame: the daily stream on its way to work, women carrying baskets of vegetables on their shoulders, little old ladies ushering children along for an afternoon stroll, youths on their way to a concert at the theater, lovers ambling arm in arm...a never-ending, fragile thread of humanity. |

LA DIFFERENCE
Etant linguiste, la traduction c'est pour moi un amour.
