Så blir vindkraftparker mer efffektiva

En vindkrafttpark kan bli mer effektiv om energiuttaget på det vindkraftverk som står först i en rad minskas. Det visar forskning vid högskolan på Gotland, rapporterar SR. Forskningen bedrivs i samarbete med KTH och Danmarks tekniska universitet.
Den enkla anledningen är att det lägre uttaget från den främre turbinen ger mer vindenergi till bakomliggande. Ytterligare en fördel med metoden är att belastningen på de bakomliggande vindkraftverken minskar till följd av minskad turbulens från de framförvarande. Resultatet av det är ökad livslängd på vindkraftverken, skriver SR.
För att kunna dra nytta av upptäckten fordras styrsystem som kan hantera vindriktningar och vindstyrkor och anpassa turbinerna efter detta.
Den exakta potentialen för metoden är inte fasställd.
– Någonstans i storleksordningen 10% skulle man kunna hoppas på, säger forskaren Stefan Ivanell till SR.

Os Parques de Energia Eólica tornam-se assim mais eficazes

Um parque de energia eólica pode tornar-se mais eficaz se se reduz a retirada de energia do aerogerador que está em primeiro lugar na série. Isto é o que aponta a investigação conduzida pela Universidade de Gotland, informa SR. A investigação está a ser realizada em cooperação com KTH e a Universidade Técnica da Dinamarca.
A simples razão é que uma menor retirada de energia da turbina dianteira gera mais energia eólica para as turbinas posteriores. Uma vantagem suplementar do método é que a sobrecarga dos aerogeradores posteriores é atenuada em consequência da diminuição da turbulência provocada por aqueles situados adiante. Em consequência, tem-se um aumento da vida útil do gerador eólico, escreve SR.
Para tirar bom proveito da descoberta, faz-se necessário um sistema de comando que possa aferir a direcção e a força do vento e ajustar as turbinas segundo estas variáveis.
O potencial exacto de aplicação do método não está determinado.
– Algo em torno de 10% é esperado, diz o investigador Stefan Ivanell ao SR.
