Ensure that flow is not restricted to P-9 (P-719) by confirming valves VM-727 and VM-742 are open. Start the vacuum pump P-9 (P-719) according to the manufacturer recommendations. When the pump is started the liquid solenoid valve will open with the start of the pump or within five (5) seconds, if a small time delay is installed in the DCS. This time delay would allow the vacuum pump motor to achieve full speed. The supplied solenoid valves are normally closed and 24 VDC.
If the solenoid valve fails to open or if the flow is restricted, the installed flow switch will shutdown the vacuum pump to prevent it from operating without the proper flow of water. A time delay of approximately fifteen (15) seconds can be installed in the DCS to prevent nuisance trips.
As the liquid ring vacuum pump begins to generate vacuum, observe the service liquid supply pressure gauge. The service liquid compound pressure gauge should indicate a slight vacuum. If the gauge is indicating a positive pressure, close the globe valve slightly until a vacuum is produced. Allow the unit to reach ultimate operating range (2.995 inches Hg ABS) or -91.1 KPa gauge and adjust the flow control valve until the service liquid supply compound gauge reads between 0 and 5 inches Hg. Vacuum.
At this point, the evaporator is being evacuated of air in the system. Once vacuum in the system reaches 27 inches Hg or 10.1 KPa absolute, turn off the vacuum pump and observe system vacuum. If the vacuum loss is more than 1 to 2 inches Hg per hour, look for and eliminate small air leaks. All leaks should be corrected prior to insulation and initial operation. Leaks can be identified by sound and/or an item such as shaving crème or a soap solution.

XX is an VV application that is designed for estimating vessel dimensions and relevant parameters of the arterial stenosis morphology in 2D x-ray angiography. It is an expert tool applicable on cardiac and digital subtracted angio vessels, and can be used to help experienced performing physicians in assessing lesion lengths. Pathological deformations of the vessel diameter, such as severe (up to 99% diameter narrowing) and complex stenosis, can be estimated. XX measurements can be applied before, during and after coronary interventions. Therefore, XX allows evaluation of lesion severity from its shape and length, supplying information on optimal revascularization method, and assessing procedural success in an objective manner.
Stenosis quantification is based on the automatic detection of the edges of the projection of the vessel on a single frame of an x-ray sequence. The portion of the vessel to be detected and quantified can be determined by only two points at the proximal and the distal part of the lesion.

XX jest aplikacją działającą pod oprogramowaniem VV przeznaczoną do szacowania rozmiarów naczyń krwionośnych oraz istotnych parametrów morfologicznych zwężeń tętniczych w angiografii 2D. Jest to profesjonalne narzędzie mające zastosowanie w obrazowaniu kardiologicznym i cyfrowym wybranych naczyń krwionośnych i może być wykorzystywane przez doświadczonych lekarzy do pomocy w szacowaniu długości zmian patologicznych. Możliwe jest oszacowanie deformacji patologicznych średnic naczyń krwionośnych o bardzo poważnej (nawet do 99% zwężenia średnicy) i kompleksowej stenozie. Pomiary XX mogą być dokonywane przed, w czasie oraz po zabiegach wieńcowych. Dlatego też, aplikacja XX pozwala na oszacowanie bardzo ciężkich przypadków zmian patologicznych naczyń, ich kształtu i długości, dostarczając informacji o metodzie optymalnej rewaskularyzacji (ponownego unaczynienia), oraz obiektywnie szacuje powodzenie podjętych działań.
Ilościowe określenie stenozy jest oparte na automatycznym wykrywaniu krawędzi naczyń widzialnych na pojedynczym kadrze analizowanej sekwencji rentgenowskiej. Aby część naczynia była wykryta i określona ilościowo, musi ona być oznaczona jedynie dwoma punktami wyznaczającymi początek i koniec zmiany patologicznej.
