A J15, dans les candidoses buccales, tous les patients étaient guéris sans aucune surinfection bactérienne (2 patients étant décédés et 1 perdu de vue).
Chez les 13 autres patients présentant des mycoses profondes, il persistait encore des champignons typiques dans les prélèvements, 4 patients de ce groupe ont été perdus de vue et 1 décédé de toxoplasmose cérébrale.

Se pusieron antes 3 gotas del reactivo 1 en un tubo plástico y se colectaron allí 50 μl de sangre del enfermo; la sangre se hemolizó con rapidez; luego se vació una gota a través de un filtro en un minipozo de reacción, donde se colocó verticalmente la tirilla de demostración. Cuando ésta absorbió completamente la gota de sangre, se adicionó el reactivo 2, luego de la absorción de éste por la tirilla, se adicionó el reactivo 3, que también se absorbió; este último aclaró la reacción y permitió hacer la lectura. En los casos positivos, se observó una línea roja continua y una discontinua. En los casos negativos sólo se apreció una línea discontinua en la parte superior de la tirilla. | Translation - English
The process of the ParaSight F test
Three drops of reactant 1 were dispensed in a heparinised capillary tube along with 50 μl of the patient’s blood. The blood haemolysed rapidly, after which one drop was removed and placed in a test sample well and the test strip was then inserted vertically. When the blood was completely wicked up the strip, reactant 2 was added and absorbed by the strip, and finally reactant 3 was added and was also completely wicked up. The addition of the final reagent yielded a reading. For a positive result, both a solid red line and a dotted red line appeared. For a negative result, only a dotted red line appeared on the upper part of the strip.
