With excellent writing skills, an eye for detail and an inherent love for languages, I enjoy my work and like to fiddle with the texts to find just the right words for each given context and situation. Moreover, I have good research and information seeking skills and aim to continuously develop my skills and knowledge in different subject areas. Terminology work and corpus-based translation are areas of special interest to me.
Apart from translating your reports, press releases, marketing material, presentations, website, software, documentation, etc., I also offer to proofread and edit your Danish translations or texts.
--> Academical background and work experience
Translation degree: BA in International Business Communication from Aarhus School of Business, Denmark (English, Spanish, Danish) with special focus on International Market Communication, Financial Translation, Marketing and Intercultural Communication.
Previously, I have spent longer periods abroad studying languages at recognized language schools and doing voluntary work in both England, Scotland and Costa Rica. In 2006 I moved to Spain, where I started my career as a freelance translator apart from working part-time as an English teacher in a private academy. Now I am based in Denmark again, where I am currently doing a Master in Specialised Translation and International Business Communication.
