I use a range of tools to increase productivity and ensure quality and consistency in my translations, and terminology work and corpus-based translation are areas of special interest to me.

Apart from translating everything from your marketing material and reports to websites, software and documentation, I also offer to proofread and edit your Danish texts whether they are translated or original material.

MA in Translation and Interpretation from Aarhus School of Business (Spanish, Danish) with courses in financial, legal and technical translation

MA courses in financial translation (English, Danish), terminology work and corpus use from Copenhagen Business School

BA in International Business Communication from Aarhus School of Business (English, Spanish, Danish) with special focus on Marketing and Intercultural Communication.

Previously, I have spent longer periods abroad studying languages at recognized language schools and doing voluntary work in both England, Scotland and Costa Rica. In 2006 I moved to Spain, where I started my career as a freelance translator while working part-time as an English teacher in a private academy. After two years in Spain I moved back to Denmark to continue my studies, and now I am based in England where I work as a full-time freelance translator and language consultant.
