I am in the translation business since 2000 and I play computer games since the good old times of the Sinclair ZX-81. At that time a computer game was nothing more than a square evading a few asterisks. But hey, with a bit of imagination you felt like you were actually piloting a spaceship through an asteroid field. The best part of it all was that you got to program the game yourself, because all the lines of code were in a book. And that's how an eight year old kid learns a little bit about programming and develops an intimate relationship with computers.
Things have changed a lot since 1985, but my fondness of computers and anything related to them are still the same, and even though I did not possess the mathematical skills to be a hard-core programmer, I did manage to be at least a little part of the gaming industry.
If you need someone who is passionate about games AND translation then look no further and contact me now! I'll be waiting for your e-mail. ;^)
