About me
A native speaker of Spanish, I am a Spanish Architect and Translator.

Of course, I translate what I master: all sort of texts related to my former profession, from French, Italian and English into Spanish. I have also some experience in other fields as Art, Engineering and Tourism.

I offer you a high knowledge of the fields I translate as well as a true responsibility and accuracy based on the knowledge of my own language, study and research.

A building restoration Architect for over 30 years, I am a professional translator since 2007, I can provide you with my knowledge on Architecture, Construction and Civil Engineering, as well as History of Art and Architecture. Since the beginning of my professional career I was involved on Heritage Preservation as well as some Social Housing projects.

I had nearly a bilingual elementary education in French and Spanish, and having lived in the USA, English is my third language. Later on came Italian, a culture I feel so close to my own, and a good approach to understand Art History and Building Restoration.

I naturally came into translation. After five years doing both activities, and looking to retire from the practice, I decided to definitely move into specialized translation, an activity that now takes all my time.

Since 2007 I have studied linguistics, read, made many mistakes on my first translations as a youngster does, but I can now say that I feel pretty comfortable in this new occupation so, in 2012 I decided to definitely close my practice to become a full-time specialized translator.

As a perfectionist, I enjoy studying what I translate, investigating, and looking for the exact word, in this beautiful profession that builds bridges between different cultures: this is just what I intend. Translating on Architecture gives me the feeling I’m sharing other Architects’ schemes, and this is an honor when involved on the translation of outstanding projects.
