I am a translator working from German into English. My specialist fields are automotive engineering, IT, financial, legal, travel and tourism. I now work as a freelance translator after previously working as an in-house translator for approximately two years.

Prior to this, I have lived and worked in Germany, Austria and Switzerland for a total period of approximately six years, working in a bank, teaching English as an assistant in various schools and working in the tourism and hotel industries. I gained a good knowledge of the language as a result of living there, before completing a masters degree in translation and technology at Heriot Watt University, Edinburgh.
