PhD in Molecular Biology (1984) from Uppsala University, Sweden.

Then:
Two years at Harvard University, Cambridge, MA.
Three years at University of Florida/Gainesville, FL.

Thus: five years living and working in the United States (1985-1990).

Later, I have gone into my own business. It has been a combination of building web properties and doing freelance translations.

I now have about six years of translation experience
doing primarily biotechnical and medical projects, plus patent applications.
I have clients who come back to me from time to time, offering translation and editing projects.

I translate only from English to my native language - Swedish. Generally, I am paid a minimum of 0.12 USD per source word.
