Native English and Kiswahili speaker, I was educated in the United Kingdom majoring in Law with a French language minor. Upon completion of my studies and further qualifying as an advocate, I worked in this field for a some time then decided to focus on translation with a emphasis on legal documents such as contracts, affidavits and judgement summaries. With over 5 years experience as a technical translator, I also have experience in translating teaching materials, survey documents, children's stories.
Well versed in the use of Trados and Omega T tools and very competent proofreader both in languages, Kiswahili and English. Also have some experience as a simultaneous interpreter in Kiswahili/English.
