I'm an meticulous, fast and creative Swedish to Finnish translator with real passion for languages, broad experience and excellent writing skills. I also work from Finnish to Swedish, German to Finnish and English to Finnish but to a lesser extent.

A large part of the work I do is related to marketing & advertising, IT, public administration, tourism and food industry. I especially enjoy projects where I'm encouraged to play with words and be creative, such as coming up with a Finnish slogan for a certain product.

I have a Master's degree in Cultural Anthropology from the University of Jyväskylä in Finland and have previously worked in several lines of business, which has given me with invaluable knowledge to use in my translation work.

Since I live in Sweden - the country of my main source language - I have a thorough understanding of the language, culture and society here. I keep my knowledge of my mother tongue Finnish and the culture and society in Finland up to date through frequent visits, contact with family and friends and following the press.
