Practicing the art of translation gives me the chance to draw on many skills and interests, including research, planning and computer skills. My work reflects a healthy respect for the reader.

I always was an avid reader and a lover of the written word. I have studied several languages as a hobby, Latin, Spanish, Modern Greek, German and Dutch in addition to French and English. Eventually, instead of taking more language lessons, I opted for studying translation. I graduated with honors and I am now a certified translator.

I have a long experience in proofreading. As early as second grade, my teacher used to keep me after class to correct my fellow pupils' copies. I was astonished by the quantity of mistakes I found. Since then, my editing skills have been often called upon. I always get satisfaction out of improving a piece of writing.

As freelance translator and proofreader, I have one policy: deliver quality on time. My prices are not the lowest on the market, but are in line with the attention and experience I invest to produce quality.

I have a background in information technology, a domain in which I have played a number of roles (trainer, account manager, functional analyst and project manager).
