The XXX low frequency acoustic calibration system has been developed primarily for the use with linear hydrophone array, where techniques based on water tank or lake facilities are limited by the size of the lake and the length of the array itself.
The system make use of a small sized tube-shaped equipment embedding three cylindrical piezoceramic transducers that can be submerged in a laboratory water tank and a high precision PC based data conditioning and acquisition system.
Only two operators and a small sized laboratory are needed for a calibration session. Options include vessel onboard operation kit.
An appropriate software guides the operator through every calibration step, including equipment self test, data evaluation and storage, and report production.
The calibration system can also be used for low frequencies characterization of general purpose hydrophones.

Il sistema di calibrazione acustico a bassa frequenza XXX è stato sviluppato principalmente per l'impiego con cortina idrofonica trainata, dove le tecniche basate sulla disponibilità di cisterne o specchi d'acqua vengono limitate dall’ampiezza del bacino e dalla lunghezza della cortina stessa.
Il sistema è composto da un dispositivo paragonabile a un tubo di ridotte dimensioni, che incorpora tre trasduttori piezoceramici cilindrici, che possono essere immersi in una vasca da laboratorio, e una strumentazione ad alta precisione basata su PC per il condizionamento e l'acquisizione dei dati.
Per una sessione di calibrazione è necessaria la presenza di due operatori soltanto e la disponibilità di un piccolo laboratorio. Tra le opzioni è previsto un kit per operare a bordo nave.
Un software dedicato guida l’operatore durante ciascuno stadio del processo di calibrazione, che comprende la strumentazione per il self test, la valutazione e memorizzazione dei dati e la produzione di un report.
Il sistema di calibrazione può essere impiegato anche per la caratterizzazione a bassa frequenza di idrofoni multifunzione.

XXX: Self-portraits have been very important for you, especially in your earlier production. Why did you decide to start making pictures specifically of yourself?
YYY: When I began studying photographic art in 1995, I was still in the middle of my university science studies. I was strongly resistant to investigating my own emotional life. When I finally finished my chemistry Master's dissertation, I guess I was able to give up the scientific-analytical thinking required by that type of work and to concentrate on intuition and looking. This brought about a tremendous burst of creativity in me, especially since I suddenly had some free time, and it is that period that the first works that ended up in exhibitions come from. XXX se había esforzado por construir la teoría de la paz internacional. Inyectó de espíritu dinámico la tesis sobra la guerra justa, como método auténtico para una paz entre los pueblos. Por encima del principio politico impuso el principio de la justicia; sobre el principio jurídico defendió la ley de la humanidad. La amistad y el amor entre los hombres sería la garantía más firme de la paz. Debía hacer flexible la justicia renunciando a una justa compensación que se debe, cuando así lo exige el bien de todos, la unión entre los pueblos y el espíritu de colaboración en la lucha por un mundo mejor.

XXX profuse il suo impegno nell’elaborazione della teoria sulla pace internazionale.
Restituì dinamismo alla tesi sulla guerra giusta, come strumento efficace per una pace stabile tra i popoli. Oltre al principio politico, istituì il principio di giustizia; in base al principio giuridico difese i diritti dell’umanità. L’amicizia e l’amore tra gli uomini sarebbero la garanzia più salda della pace. Dovrebbero contribuire a rendere flessibile la giustizia, rinunciando al pur giusto compenso, nel caso in cui lo richiedano il bene comune, l’unione tra i popoli e lo spirito di collaborazione nella lotta per un mondo migliore.
